The Concept
A scientist's experiment goes horribly wrong, unleashing chaos throughout the laboratory.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice sets the scene as the scientist brings a strange creation to life. What begins with curiosity and excitement quickly grows unpredictable, as bubbling experiments and increasingly frantic music suggest that something has gone terribly wrong.
Coldplay's “The Scientist” offers a moment of reflection, revealing a more thoughtful and emotional side to the experiment before the chaos returns. An explosive percussion and trombone feature signals the creature's escape, unleashing a wave of musical and theatrical mayhem.
As the experiment takes control, even the drum major falls under its influence. The production races toward a wild, high-energy finale as the laboratory's creation proves far more powerful than its creator ever imagined.
