The Concept

Perk Up! follows a day in the life of a coffee lover, from the slow start of the morning to the first cup, the café experience, and the burst of energy that follows. The music moves through changing moods and levels of intensity, giving the show a clear sense of progression while keeping the tone playful and upbeat.

The concept offers plenty of room for visual personality without requiring a literal storyline. Ensembles can use café-inspired props, staging, color, character, and movement to bring the world of the show to life in their own way.
