The Experiment is an electrifying marching band show that tells the story of a daring scientist pushing the limits of discovery. Featuring music from Dukas’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Coldplay’s The Scientist, the show combines classical intensity with modern emotion. A flugelhorn (or trumpet) solo adds a heartfelt, reflective moment amid the chaos of creation. The music builds as the experiment takes shape, moving from curiosity and precision to a thrilling finale where the experiment finally comes alive.

This show was originally commissioned for the Fall 2024 marching band season.
