Noir in Blue explores the intoxicating beauty and darker edge of the jazz era, where speakeasy rhythms and smoky ballads collide. Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue shimmers with elegance, woven together by a demanding clarinet solo that winds throughout the show. The driving swing of Sing, Sing, Sing pulls the night deeper into chaos, while a haunting trumpet and trombone duet in Young and Beautiful lingers like a faded dream. This production paints a cinematic portrait of an age where the spotlight gleamed brightest against the dark.
